Great sadness at the passing of Barry Ewington We knew Margery as friend and work colleague. Barry and I were founder representatives of Nuneaton Sports Council He was always approachable, fair in discussion, humorous and all round good guy. What a great Coach and a Inspiration Barry was. Whenever I seen him always told me about his new athletes he'd got how they were doing,he even asked myself about my Athletes and both of us passing on tips , a truly wonderful gentleman.He took timeout to ask how I was competing always calling out for us..Lovely to over known you Barry..

I ran at the Harriers on and off over a number of years. Barry never asked me where I’d been, he treated me as though I’d never been away. in all the time I knew Barry I can’t remember a time he wasn’t smiling. He was a kind hearted person, a great coach and most importantly, a great friend. We spent many a time walking around the cinder track and later the synthetic track just talking. Great times I will never forget
